Are you fulfilling your Divine mission in life? Your Higher Purpose intuition. Vishen Lakhiani states that, “This is the most useful and the most amazing level of intuition. At this level, your subconscious mind works with you and your intuition guides you to move towards your life purpose. People with this ability are amazingly successful in business.
A person that is well in tune with this type of intuition will be working in alignment with what she knows to be her divine mission in life. It is very common for this type of person to meditate daily, to listen intently to that inner voice when making decisions and to trust that their intuition will guide them in the proper direction. They do this with a firm knowing and a sense of purpose. Lakhiani rightly states that a person who is living to her full potential uses her subconscious mind to give her the momentum and the push she needs to help her complete her life’s purpose.
They are highly intuitive beings that are making a maximum impact on the world.

“There’s meaning in your existence, and you have the capacity to live from here from a perspective of purpose. “The first step is to know that you’re here on purpose. This is not the same as knowing what you’re supposed to do. Throughout your life, what you do will change and shift. Your purpose is not about what you do, it’s about your beingness, that place within you from which your thoughts emerge. This is why you’re called a human being rather than a human doing! Affirm in your own words, both in writing and in your thoughts, that you are here on purpose, and intend to live from this awareness at all times.”

Esther & Jerry Hicks compare The Law of Attraction to tuning a radio. You want to listen to something on 102.7FM? You don’t expect to hear it if your radio’s set to 98.7 do you? Of course not. The radio waves of one frequency can only be received by a matching tuner, right? Same thing in the “real” world.
If you want to receive love and abundance in your life, you need to set your tuner to the same vibrational frequency as love and abundance, no?
To put it bluntly: If you’re a jerk, do you expect to receive an overwhelming abundance of love in your life? It’s IMPOSSIBLE. You’re putting out all kinds of “jerk” energy and that’s pretty much what you’ll get back.

“Cultivate the habit of attending to your inner life as you would cultivate a beautiful garden. Where and how you place your attention should be your daily practice for enhancing your inner garden. Become aware of what draws you away from enjoying yourself here and now and gently come back to yourself in the present moment without judgment. Deliberate cultivation of attention, when practiced consistently, yields wonderful insights and creates a fertile ground for nurturing your dreams.”

RE: Choices/Contrast
Is one desire better than another? No.
Who gets to choose? You do.
Can you make one choice now and another choice later? Absolutely.
Is it likely that your choices will continue to change and evolve? Yes.
Is there somebody watching you and keeping score of what you choose? No.
Will there be punishment if you accidentally make the wrong choice? No.
The suffering that you see as punishment is nothing greater than the negative emotion that you feel in any moment as you’re disallowing your true self to flow through you. That’s as bad as it gets.
That guilt or anger or blame or frustration or depression that you feel because you’re choosing thoughts that aren’t in vibrational harmony with who you are. That’s as bad as it gets.
Who gets to choose? You do.
How do you know if you’re making the right choice? You can feel it.
Will your choices evolve? Absolutely.
Can you make wrong choices? No.
Will other people agree? Never.
Are you going to be able to stand on your head in enough different ways to please them? No.
Any one of them? No.
Is that your job? No.
Then what is your job? To feel good.
What does that mean? Seek harmony with who you are.

“Research has shown that a simple act of kindness directed toward another improves the functioning of the immune system & stimulates the production of serotonin in both the recipient of the kindness and the person extending the kindness. Even more amazing is that persons observing the act of kindness have similar beneficial results.
Imagine this! Kindness extended, received, or observed beneficially impacts the physical health and feelings of everyone involved!”

What if you could fully comprehend everything of which you’re capable? You would never waste another moment of your precious time.
What if you could know how truly powerful you are? You would never again be reluctant to move forward.
You are the living expression of opportunity. Within you are countless magnificent achievements to be discovered and fulfilled.
Fear keeps those achievements unrealized, hidden from yourself and the world. Love will set them free.
Spend a moment in loving thankfulness for all that has brought you to where you are today. Peacefully let go of the resentment, doubt, disappointment, worry and fear.
Feel the power of your own possibilities. See that the best is yet to come, and joyfully begin to bring it to life.

Man’s Search for Meaning
A reporter was sent to a stone cutter to interview three different men doing exactly the same job – hammering stones.
Asking about how they liked their job, the first one answers, “I really hate it. I barely make the money to survive. I am doing the same stupid thing over and over. My back hurts, I am getting old, and I absolutely see no sense in what I am doing.”
The second man responds to the same question, saying, “It’s not bad, I have a decent house and a nice car. I love my family; however, I am not fulfilled with what I am doing.”
The third man replies, “I love my job. I am absolutely thrilled and I appreciate everyday I can be here. I think my work is wonderful as all these stones I am hammering will later be part of the material to build a wonderful cathedral. A place where many people can worship and a place where many people will find the strength to overcome struggles and difficulties in their lives. I cannot imagine doing something different – I feel happy every moment.”
Remember – all these people are doing the same exact work. It is only their attitude that makes a completely different person out of them. Not only are these people all different, they each will be affecting the other people around them by their attitudes.

If you were being interviewed by that reporter which story most closely resembles yours? According to the law of attraction if you focus all of your energy and attention on your crappy situation, the crappy situation will get bigger and bigger and you will attract more and more crappy situations. However, if you see the beauty in what you are currently doing, like the third man, your experience with beauty will get bigger and bigger and you will attract more beauty and abundance into your life. Hmmm… is THAT what they mean when they say that it all starts with us? Yep-a-rooni! Just like a magnet, we attract what we are feeling and putting our energy and focus on. So what do YOU want to focus on?

I work with many clients who are moving through a career transition. The desire for a transition comes from different places and for different reasons. Transitions can be made with intention or accelerated through circumstance. Wherever you are, these questions can help you make choices that align with your wants, needs and values.
WHY do you want this transition?
Whether you are making this transition by choice or as the result of a layoff, understanding why you want it will help you get started on your path. This involves looking beyond the income to your deeper reason. Your WHY could include a better fit for your lifestyle, a better fit with your passions and strengths, the opportunity to make a great impact, and much more. A good place to start figuring out your why is to consider your values, what matters most to you in your life right now.
WHAT do you want?
Transitions can take many different forms, from changing roles, to changing industries, responsibilities and environments. Understanding what you want means more than just choosing your next job title. It starts with a look back to the experiences and environments that brought out the best in you and helped you grow into who you are today. The next step is to look at what you want for your future including how you want to continue to grow, what types of new experiences you want to have, and how large a role you want your career to play in your overall life. Creating a vision for what you want in the form of a story can be a powerful way to capture all of this information. You want your vision to be clear enough that you can see yourself doing, being or having it, but not so clear that is too finite or tied to one path of achievement.
WHO do you want to work with and/or for?
Our careers are much more than our job titles. We can play the same role in several organizations and have very different experiences within each. That’s why who your work with and for is so important to consider. Think about the type of organization you want to work for, including what service/product they deliver, how they deliver it, and what matters most to them (their organizational values). Who also includes the clients or customers you will be working with and for, what they care about and why they do business with this organization. Your colleagues and especially your manager/leader play a key role in your satisfaction and success in your career so take time to consider what qualities and traits you are seeking in those connections as well.
WHERE do you want to go – which environments are a best fit for you?
Environments include your physical space, expectations and support. Think about your needs – the conditions that help you do and be your best. Do you thrive the most in a structured or unstructured work culture? Do you do your best work when part of a team or as a leader (or both)? What pace of work do you prefer? These questions and more are important to ask yourself to help you choose your next opportunity.
HOW will you need to stretch or shift?
All transitions involve some changes to your level of activity, your thoughts, perspective and/or behavior. Your plan may include additional education, skill building, new people to meet, a different lifestyle, a risk or leap. The success of our transition is determined by many factors out of our locus of control. What is within our sphere of influence are the choices we make, who we show up as every day, how we handle the unknown and our thoughts about what is possible to achieve.
There are many things to consider as you embark on your career transition. Not all of these will matter to you, and some will matter much more than others. Prioritize according to what you believe is right for you and most of all, enjoy the process of your journey while walking toward your goal.

Well said, Stephanie! Thank you! There IS an awful lot to look at when transitioning based on the inside of you, before you ever dust off and revise your resume! There are deep reasons–YOUR big why. So often we focus on what others want us to do vs what our internal GPS is telling us. Remember to focus on what brings out the best in YOU, what are the things that make YOU feel strong? Who you work with & for is also extremely critical. Your colleagues and especially your manager/leader play an extremely vital role in your happiness when at a job. And remember what IS and IS NOT within your control…such as you attitude. You have 100% control over how you choose to see things, with the glass half empty or half full. Most of all, enjoy the journey….
